Securely managing and safeguarding client data is a critical requirement for Salmat.

In recognition of this, Salmat's ICT group has implemented an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on ISO 27001.

This ISMS brings information security under explicit management control, and is designed to ensure the selection of adequate and targeted security controls that safeguard information assets, define process and policy in line with best security practice,  providing a greater level of assurance to clients.

Implementing the ISMS required a review of the existing IT security controls, including physical security, business continuity, security awareness, change control, and human resource management. Salmat's security controls are reviewed and updated as required,  in line with emerging trends and the ever-evolving threat landscape.

Salmat's contact centre platform has also been independently assessed and has been deemed PCI-DSS 3.0 Compliant (certified).  The same platform has also been iRAP assessed, thus can serve clients ranging from commercial to federal government.
