As an equal opportunity employer, Salmat is committed to creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the communities in which we live and conduct business.

Celebrating our differences

Every single person who works at Salmat is unique. Whether they walk into an office in Melbourne, Sydney, New Zealand or the Philippines, our people know they can be themselves and reach their potential.

It’s this spirit of diversity and inclusion that drives our success. We recognise, appreciate and celebrate all our differences: life and work experiences, perspectives, cultures, race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, abilities, disabilities and many other aspects of life.

And we focus is on maintaining an inclusive environment where our people’s differences are valued, people are empowered, and diverse Salmat communities are connected across the business.

This approach is underpinned by our Diversity Policy, endorsed by our Board and supported by our Diversity and Inclusion Council. But most importantly, everyone who works at Salmat believes and trusts in it.

Our Diversity and Inclusion Council is chaired by our CEO, Craig Dower, and comprises members representative of our varied workforce. The goal of the council is to develop and implement the diversity and inclusion strategy, oversee and monitor activities, and align our diversity effort across business groups and functions

The council members are:

  • Craig Dower, CEO
  • Lisa Mayer, Head of Delivery, New Zealand
  • Cynthia Rayos, Contact Centre Manager, Philippines
  • Shane McClelland, Senior Manager Corporate Communications
  • Sarah Burdett, Manager Supplier Relations
